When producing a complex die-cut for a pocket folder or packaging layout, sometimes it's difficult to assess folding accuracy when dealing with hand cut dummies that are usually supplied from a printer. We offer a solution. We can laser cut a one-off prototype from a CAD system that is accurate within one thousandths of an inch.
These are done on the actual paper stock selected for your project. If the size is within the digital press size range we can also produce your prototype in full 4c graphics.
The digital template, once approved, becomes the file for the die-line. We give the approved die-line back to the designer to use for for placing their graphics files.
The proof prototype and die-line is free. If you need additional copies for client pitches or convention display, let us know we will quote a price. They are a very inexpensive way to show your packaging product.
